Choose a Date
The most important detail of planning a party is deciding on what date you want it to take place.
Parties are usually best taking place on the weekend and in the evening, as this is when most people are likely to be available.
Make sure that the guests you really want to attend are available on this date, as once you book a venue it’ll be hard to change.
Choose a Venue
Where do you want the party to take place? This is an important step in planning the perfect party. You need to make sure that your chosen venue can hold the amount of guests that you’re planning to invite.
Also, think of the location. You don’t want to choose somewhere that’s too far out from where most of your guests live, as they might not be able to travel too far. If this isn’t possible, then consider nearby accommodation for those who may want to stay over, or parking for those who wish to drive.
Make a Guest List and Send Out Invitations
Now that you have a venue sorted, you need to decide who you want to invite to the party. We always recommend jotting down a list before sending out invitations, then you can check it twice before writing them – like a party-planning Santa!
Set up an event on Facebook too, as sometimes it’s easier for people to receive their invitations that way.
Book the Entertainment
